Part Time Sales Position Available
Are you fun to work to with? Do you have a positive can-do attitude?

We are looking for someone who has a passion for sales and providing excellent Customer Service. The role will involve being the first point of contact for sales and customer enquiries, following up enquiries and keeping in contact with previous customers.

Proven experience of sales and sales follow up processes essential, boating knowledge would be advantageous.

Passion, team player, flexibility and hard work are some of the qualities that we look for in our team and if you possess those qualities, we would love to hear from you!

Pay is £9.50 per hour with the potential to earn an additional £3500 per annum if the individual reaches all their sales targets.

The successful candidate will receive annual pay reviews and free parking.

Working Hours: 16 hours per week, Tuesday – Friday, Occasional Saturday when required
Location: Thornham Marina, Emsworth

Boat Yard Manager Position Available
A small but busy Marina on the south coast are looking to recruit a highly motivated Boatyard Manager to join our team.

This role reports to the Marina Manager and is primarily responsible for the pro-active day to day management of a busy boatyard, ensuring the highest level of customer service and Health & Safety standards.

The main responsibilities include:
– Lifting and launching boats.
– Blocking off of boats and other lifting operations using the Merlo 470 and 12 Ton
– Servicing and maintaining all equipment, including a Submersible boat hoist, Merlo 470, high powered pressure washer to name a few.
– Implementing and compliance with Health and Safety and Risk Assessments
– Maintaining yard to boat owners and users’ expectations.
– Managing other yard staff

The role is varied and day to day responsibilities vary depending on the requirements of the marina.

The ideal candidate:
Will have supervisory experience, an excellent standard of communication and customer service and be happy working on their own and as part of a team.

You will be organised with good planning and time-management skills.

Good mechanical skills are essential along with enthusiasm and passion for all things boating. You will enjoy working outdoors in all kinds of weather. A knowledge of boats, boating and lifting and blocking off boats is essential.

Salary: Dependent on Experience
Working Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 8am – 4:30pm
