Langstone

tower emsworth

Head north up the Emsworth Channel with views of Hayling Island to port and Thorney Island to starboard. It’s possible to anchor on the edge of the channel, where you can watch the birdlife. If you are lucky, you’ll get a visit from the resident harbour seals.

Continuing north the channel splits at Northney post. Head westwards to explore Langstone where you’ll see the remains of Warblington Castle and the spire of Warblington Church. At the top of the channel you will find two fine waterside pubs, The Ship and the Royal Oak, which you can reach by tender or shallow draft boats when the tide is in.
